“The Cheney baseball team is planning a southern trip in the early part of the summer. Prof. Sampson of the Cheney normal school says if the team continues its present rate of improvement the trip is assured. The matter rests entirely with the work the nine does in the games they now have scheduled. Should they come up to the standard set for them a schedule of games will be arranged with Colfax, Pullman college and Moscow. The “following schedule has already been arranged:<br />
