June 24.— Reuben Bowers, 35 years of age, who was operated on for a severe case of appendicitis a week ago today at the Harrington hospital, died Sunday morning and the funeral will be held June 25 at 10:20 o'clock. Mr. Bowers built the headless biplane and with Mr. Mecklenburg was making practice flights at the home of his father south of town. Mr. Bowers was an Odd Fellow and besides a wife and daughter leaves a father, Adam Bowers; four sisters, Mrs. C. W. Davis of Almira, Mrs. O. V. Green of Spokane, Mrs. Otheo Campbell of Kennewick and Mrs. Lee Hughes of Mount Vernon; two brothers, Tad Bowers of Harrington and Paul Rowers, who is at present in Indiana.		HARRINGTON, Wash.
