Funeral services for William&lt;br /&gt;
H. Padley, 87, W2328 Second,&lt;br /&gt;
resident of Spokane and Reardan&lt;br /&gt;
for 54 years, will be at 11 a, m.&lt;br /&gt;
Friday at Smith&amp;#039;s.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Very Rev. Frederick Ward&lt;br /&gt;
Kates will officiate. Interment&lt;br /&gt;
will be in Riverside Park cemetery&lt;br /&gt;
with the Masonic lodge assisting.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He had been hospitalized several&lt;br /&gt;
times in the last few months&lt;br /&gt;
and died Monday night in a&lt;br /&gt;
Spokane hospital.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mr. Padley, born in July, 1867&lt;br /&gt;
in Pinckney, Mich., was graduated&lt;br /&gt;
with the law class of 1897&lt;br /&gt;
from the University of Michigan.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He taught mathematics and&lt;br /&gt;
science in the Reardan high&lt;br /&gt;
school from 1900 to 1904 and&lt;br /&gt;
from 1905 to 1910. He was&lt;br /&gt;
assistant Lincoln county superintendent&lt;br /&gt;
of schools for three years.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Opened Office&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mr. Padley opened a law office&lt;br /&gt;
in Reardan in 1910, carrying on&lt;br /&gt;
a general legal practice with&lt;br /&gt;
insurance as a sideline. He sold his&lt;br /&gt;
practice about a year ago to&lt;br /&gt;
Warden Hanel and his associate,&lt;br /&gt;
A. C. McNulty. He maintained&lt;br /&gt;
an apartment in Spokane for&lt;br /&gt;
many years while carrying on his&lt;br /&gt;
law practice in Reardan.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
He is survived by his wife,&lt;br /&gt;
Eugenia, at the home, They&lt;br /&gt;
were married in 1905. He also is&lt;br /&gt;
survived by a daughter, Willine&lt;br /&gt;
J., who was admitted to the bar&lt;br /&gt;
in 1932 and practiced in Spokane&lt;br /&gt;
15 years. She now is a nun, Sister&lt;br /&gt;
Mary Julianna, Order of St.&lt;br /&gt;
Joseph, in a convent in Nelson,&lt;br /&gt;
B. C.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Mr. Padley was a member of&lt;br /&gt;
the Masonic and Odd Fellow&lt;br /&gt;
lodges of Reardan.&lt;br /&gt;
