SECOND TEAM

The second team was coached by Mr. Johnson. This team consisted of boys who are aspiring to make the “A” squad. Many of these boys knew very little about basketball when the season started. Six members of the team were Freshman, two members were Sophomores, one was a Junior and one member, a Senior, The boys on the second team practice hard and take their basketball seriously. Fine basketball material should come from this squad next year. The following boys were members of the team.

RALPH RHOADS, who has learned a great deal about basketball this year, and is eager to learn more.

RODGER HEIN, a boy quick on the floor and one with possibilities,

NEIL SCHMITT, a boy who also shows plenty of possibilities.

LEONARD McCONNELL, who has improved greatly since the beginning of the basketball season.

RONNIE WALTHERS, a Junior who showed lots of pep and enthusiasm. Ronnie has completed two years of basketball.

BILL ZUNKER, a player who has a style of shooting all his own.

MIKE BISSON, one who has speed and an eye for the basket.

BOB STUHLMILLER, who also showed plenty of enthusiasm. Bob’s accuracy at the basket talleyed many points for Reardan.

MICKEY HADLEY, a hard working Sophomore who was very difficult to guard.

CLIFFORD CARSTENS, who, at times substituted on the “A” squad. Clifford shows promise as evidenced by points made during the season.
