High scoring Indians in offensive position

Five boys who have been throwing a basketball around together since grage school, came through in fine style this year. The are of course, the Reardan basketball team who won the bi-county title last Friday, and who throughout the season have compiled an enviable record.

Often the “dream team” snaps in mid-season, falls apart at the seams from overconfidence, and is no*longer a smooth working unit. But the Indian five kept practicing and playing hard throughout the season—that’s a fact any scorebook will prove.

We send our congratulations to Coach Johnson and his expert five—Schulz, Atkinson, Stuhlmiller, Anyan and Krupke—for their winning of the bi-county and for their excellent an sportsmanlike play thus far.

May we add to the best wishes of their many fans throughout the county by saying, “Best of luck, Indians, in the district tournament and whatever may lie beyond.”
