BAND

Again we wish to congratulate you, Mr. McKay, for the fine work you have done in connection with our band. It has been through your efforts that the band has been able to achieve the excellent and superior ratings received this year. Your work with individuals and individual groups has also been appreciated. The two fine concerts presented during the year is also an indication of your ability as a band leader and music organizer.

Early in the school year the band holds an organizational meeting in which officers are elected. This year the following were chosen:

President: Norman Fiess
Vice President: Joan Meyer
Secretary: Patsy Heslin
Treasurer: JoAnn Tierney
Publicity: Marion Wendlandt, Bruce Tramm, Janet McDowell
<poem>

It is also the duty of the officers to meet and formulate rules and regulations for the
various music awards.

The band members also select, by vote, the ones best qualified to become majorettes.

The activities of the band will be listed in chronolgical order, Also the glee club
participation will be mentioned.
