Class Will

We, the graduating class of 1951, Reardan High School, city of Reardan, county of Lincoln, State of Washington, United States of America, being of a sound state of mind leave and know that everyone hates to see us go.

To the Junior Class we will whatever remains after we graduate (don’t use it too fast).

To all of our underclassmen we leave our debts, in hopes you will pay them as soon as we are gone.

Glenn Atkinson wills the writing on his desk to Barbara Koberstine. Keep up the tradition Barbara!

Ruth Christensen wills her ability to carry the entire contents of her locker to Nellie Howe. Be careful not to spill the ink as often as Ruth did, Nellie.

Willa Dahlin wills her long hair to Doug MacEachron (now make good use of it Doug.)

Don Clayton wills his clever little cartoons to Don Kelso and hopes that they will make him a fortune.

Elinor Flood wills her nickname (Stubby) to Junior Anyan. It is very fitting, also for Elinor to will her ability to do English to Dwayne Paul.

Nadine Howard wills her nose to whoever nose everything----too! !

Wayne Delzer doesn’t will his idea to become a millionaire to any one. He says he already has a lot of company--seems everyone wants to have money.

Helen Lightle wills her ability to get involved in love affairs to Joyce Delzer (now watch it Joyce!).

Arlene Nichols wills the gossip column to Ann Sherwood (don’t over-do it Ann).

Ralph Gifford wills his ability to argue to Ethel Doughty; also his manly figure is willed to Jack Fields.

Mary Lou Kamm wills her flirtatious ways to those who can use a little here and there,

Jean Piper wills her tardiness to class to incoming frosh (confidentially Freshmen, we advise you not to take it!)

Howard Kelly wills his ability to leave study hall, whenever possible, to Marie Carstens. All you need is two feet (and permission).

Darlene Reilly wills her ‘‘oneriness’’ to Mary Bergeron, and her ability to beat up bigger people to anyone in need of it.

Mary Rettkowski wills her hair dye to Dale Dahlin in hopes he will someday become as carrot-topped as she (don’t over do it, Dale!).

Don Mann wills his outstanding interest in school affairs to Carol Hein. You’ll watch your step, won’t you?

Wilma Rupnow wills her ability to finish high school in three years to Lucille Pohle (try hard, Lucy).

Anna Stark wills her trumpet to Lyle Plummer. Blow, Lyle, Blow!

Bob Mohr wills his bashfulness to Johnny Schultz, in hopes that it will tone him down a bit!

Donna Stark wills her pretty pin curls to Marvel Jacobson.

Laura Thiemens wills her quiet efficient manner to Bertha Coil (the quiet little mouse).

Bob Rogers wills his middle name to anyone who will trade--sight unseen!
