STUDENT COUNCIL

The student council is made up of a representative from each class, a representative from each chartered organization in the High School and three elected members from the Student Body at large. The superintendent or principal is also a member of this group, but has no vote.
This group meets prior to each student body meeting in order to discuss business pertinent to the student body and to formulate recommendations to be made at the student body meeting.
The other duties of the Council are to grant charters to clubs and organizations of the high school and to specify conditions for the granting and withdrawal of the same. To have charge of all financial matters pertaining to extra-curricular activities, and to take under consideration all matters referred to it by the superintendent, the faculty or the student body.
Council officers this year were:

Secretary: Joan Meyer
Treasurer: Patsy Heslin
Advisor: Mr. McKay
