A junior class of twenty-seven students entered Reardan High on Sept. 7, 1954. During the year Jim Seagle, Ron Lehman, Ed Shearer and Ed Hohnstein joined our class. The big events of the year were the junior play and the junior prom. The theme of our prom was “Gay Paree”, The gym was beautifully decorated for the occasion. The music was provided by Al Reeves and Ed Grier’s orchestra from Cheney. The banquet was also done in the Paris motif. The senior will and prophecy were read. Members from the sophomore class acted as servers and also helped out with the music. Officers for the junior year were:

The Zoozah
Wally and Brainstorm wanted to become famous writers, so in order to meet a famous producer they wanted Lois to enter the local beauty contest and evetually become Miss America. Lois’s boy friend, Hippo, an amateur astrologer, told her that the stars were not in her favor. In order to make her feel lucky, Wally and Brainstorm, bought a “Zoozah’”’. Much trouble arose when their rich neighbor, Mrs. Grately’s money disappeared, and also her ward, Elaine was supposedly kidnapped. To hide from the police after he was accused of stealing the money, Wally dressed up as the ZOOZAH. Brainstorm had much trouble trying to keep them both out of sight, thinking they were the same person, When the ZOOZAH came face to face with Wally, he discovered that he had bought his girl friend Elaine who had run away from home. Elaine and Mrs. Grately made up and Mr. Grately let her go out with Wally. After getting sick from his latest study, Yoga, Hippo went home. Lois and Brainstorm corrected their misunderstandings with each other and everything ended well.
