Introducing the ‘’A’’ Squad

Vernon Rogers, a Junior, who was virtually a speed “ball’ when it came to stealing the ball and dribbling around the opponents.

Norman Clouse, a Senior, who had plenty of “zip” on the floor and whose accuracy in long shots paid off many times.

Ronald Ahlf, a Junior, who shows much skill in ball handling. Ron has a lot of pep stored up for next year.

Jimmy Clayton, a Senior, who showed a lot of speed and was very hard to guard against.

Bill Hein, a Sophomore, filled his position of center in a very commendable way. Bill showed plenty of skill in getting those rebounds.

Clifford Carstens, a Senior, proved his abilities through his height. Cliff also played as a Center,

Marvin Willms, a Sophomore, who really hustled during a game.

Robert Rux, a Freshman, and the only Freshman on the “A” squad. Bob shows much promise as being an outstanding player.

Robert Backer, a Sophomore, characterized by his speed and quick footwork.

Ralph Rhoads, a Junior, who has improved greatly and who shows plenty of speed on the floor.
